Kochi Business School demonstrated their academic and thought leadership at the International Conference on Driving Sustainability, hosted at Bharat Mata College. This conference offered an excellent platform for academics, educators, and students to showcase their research in sustainability and the role of technology for creating a more sustainable future.
The theme of the conference was "AI - An Enabler of Sustainable Strategy,” and an appropriate theme given the pace of change in entrepreneurship today. Students at Kochi Business School presented an innovative paper detailing real-life applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in marketing for sustainability, AI Consumer engagement, and the disputes surrounding AI-driven strategies.
Their paper concentrated on how AI can optimize resource use, create more focused and environmentally conscious marketing campaigns, and strengthen brand-consumer relationships. Along with highlighting significant ethical issues like data privacy and algorithmic fairness, the study also covered the delicate balance between innovation and responsibility. The occasion was successful and gave students a more comprehensive understanding of research methods, teaching strategies, and the faculty's role in forming sustainable business education.
