The following policy pertaining to training, student development and placement throws light on the roles and responsibilities of all participants and states the regulations.
KBS offers placement assistance to the maximum possible extent and not placement assurance. The placement is directly connected with the eligibility and employability of students.
All Staff members of KBS are requested to inform any leads coming to their notice to the Dean – Corporate Relations & Executive Education. Faculty members are required to put all efforts to sensitize the students regarding the recent trends and requirements in the job market.
The Placement committee for the support in placements, absorbing students into their workplaces and contacts, garnering high profiled placement data, mentorship, training, events, inaugurations, industrial visits, internships etc.
All students are required to register their names with the Department of Corporate Relations and Executive Education to attend the recruitment drives. Only those students who are willing to work anywhere in India or abroad are eligible to register their names.
A minimum of 85% attendance is mandatory for registration into the recruitment drives. Attendance in all training and development programmes are mandatory for becoming eligible to registration for recruitment drives.
Good academic performance without any backlogs is the basic eligibility to register names for recruitment drives. Most of the reputed organisations do not accept candidates with backlogs in academics. The students who have arrears will be considered only if placement opportunities are available in the job market.
The students are required to complete meaningful projects – Internships and Research based projects and must complete all assignments of KBS.
All Placement opportunities and its requirements will be notified by KBS – CREE. It is the responsibility of all students to carefully go through the notice and thoroughly understand the job profile, eligibility, selection process, remuneration, location, and other details. No complaints will be entertained in this regard later and KBS is not responsible for any issues faced by the students.
Placement committee for placement activities is responsible to coordinate all recruitment drives under supervision and direction from KBS-CREE. It will be ensured by them that Recruiters submit the detailed JDs with a selection process.
Students should inform KBS-CREE when they get an interview/aptitude test call and take the duty leave approval well in advance. If any students want to take leave on the same day, it will not be approved. And students should attach a copy of your interview notification letter along with the leave application form.
All students are required to be in formal dress and well-disciplined while attending the placement process. They are required to strictly follow all instructions from KBS-CREE in this regard.
Absenteeism from recruitment drives / placement programs after registration will be viewed very seriously and students will be required to show genuine reasons. Students who fail to attend two placement opportunities arranged by KBS-CREE without valid reasons will be delisted and thereafter will not be eligible to attend any drives organized by the college.
Students will be provided 3 no: of interviews based on their profile.
Once the student registers for any placement drive and gets qualified through the process, he / she has to accept the job offer mandatorily. Non-acceptance of job offers leads to delisting of students.
A student once placed will not be eligible to attend further placement drives. However, if the offer is from a better organization in all aspects, the student can attend the drive, subject to the conditions put forward by KBS-CREE. The decision of Dean – Corporate Relations & Executive Education in this regard is final and no enquiries will be entertained thereafter. A maximum of three placement opportunities will be provided to all candidates by KBS-CREE
All students who obtain job offers through KBS-CREE are required to strictly follow the conditions put forward by the Organizations. KBS-CREE will not be responsible for any consequences thereafter in this regard.
The candidates who are placed shall submit one copy of their offer letter to KBS-CREE without fail. The students who are placed laterally are also to submit the copy of offer letters to the department.
All candidates are required to provide feedback to KBS-CREE pertaining to the overall work culture and job profile in their respective organisations.
All students are requested to give their feedback and suggestions to improve the functioning of KBS-CREE at KBS.
Any misconduct or violation of the above norms will lead to delisting of the students from placement opportunities
