A group of 30 students from Kochi Business School had the opportunity to intern in Qatar during the 2023 FIFA World Cup. The students were selected from both the Finance and General MBA programs. They were offered a lucrative payment of INR 1,50,000 and INR 1,00,000 respectively for their work during the 45-day internship. This internship experience not only provided the students with valuable practical exposure but also gave them a chance to witness the international sporting event of the year. Working during the World Cup allowed them to gain insight into the behind-the-scenes operations and management of such a large-scale event. This opportunity undoubtedly helped the students to enhance their skills and knowledge and provided them with a unique and valuable experience that will benefit them in their future careers.
